Welcome to my photography site. I’m a self-taught enthusiast focused on street, travel, and event photography. Most of the albums and blog posts you will find here are intended as photo essays that tell a story, document a subject/event, or simply evoke the feeling of a specific time and place.
While I’ve always enjoyed photography, inspiration truly struck while living in Japan from 2010 to 2012, not only because the country is incredibly picturesque but also because I discovered the work of several photographers, such as Kayo Ume and Natsumi Hayashi, which opened my mind to what photography could be. Since then, I’ve been exploring and refining my own unique style and process, which is reflected throughout my work on this site.
As for gear, I use Panasonic micro 4/3 systems and most of my shots are taken with a Leica Summilux 25mm (50mm equivalent) f/1.4 or a 14mm (28mm equivalent) f/2.5 pancake lens.
